Caring for the IU Bloomington campus

Facility Operations maintains our physical campus to support research, teaching, and learning at Indiana University Bloomington. As a unit of Capital Planning and Facilities, Facility Operations provides wide-ranging services—all with the goal of creating a beautiful, well-functioning campus.

IU instructs all individuals wear a mask inside buildings on campus, beginning August 5, 2021.

In order to continue following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Indiana Department of Health (IDOH), we are instructing all IU students, employees, and visitors to wear a mask indoors.

This time-limited recommendation applies to all IU campuses, including IUPUI, all regional campuses, IUPUC, and IU Fort Wayne.
